Step by step
- Drop a photo. The first time, the browser loads the AI model; after that the subject is separated from the background automatically.
- Use the “Outline” slider to set how wide the border around the subject is. All the way left there is no border and the sticker follows the subject's shape directly.
- Pick a different “Outline color” if white doesn't fit – black for a bold comic look, for example, or a color that matches the subject.
- Decide whether you want “Soft shadow”. It adds depth on screen; for cutting with a cutting machine it is better switched off.
- Save the PNG with “Download”. For a cutting machine, also get the “Cut line (SVG)” and scale it in your cutter software to the same size as the image.
What you can use it for
- Pet stickers: Dog, cat or horse as a sticker for a laptop, water bottle or notebook. Photos where the animal is fully visible and sharp give the nicest shape.
- Messenger stickers: Funny faces or objects as transparent PNGs for your own sticker packs in messaging apps.
- Print then cut: The PNG is printed on sticker paper and the cut line guides the cutter around the outline. That makes small batches for parties, clubs or gifts easy.
- Labels and decoration: Cut-out products, plants or food with an outline work for labels, invitations or collages – the transparent background fits on any surface.

Making it look great
Photos where the subject stands out clearly from the background work best. A wider outline forgives small cutting inaccuracies. If you already have a cut-out PNG, the AI step is skipped.

How do I get the sticker into WhatsApp?
Import the PNG with a sticker app on your phone. On iPhone, WhatsApp also accepts photos directly as stickers.

Why does the shadow extend past the cut line?
The cut line follows the outer edge of the outline. The shadow is slightly offset, so it reaches a little beyond it. Turn the shadow off for stickers you want to cut out.
What color is the cut line?
It is a red, unfilled line. In most cutter programs you can set it as a cut line after importing.
Why do I need to scale the cut line?
The SVG uses the sticker's pixel dimensions, and cutter programs convert pixels to millimeters differently. Scale the line to exactly the size at which you print the PNG.
What happens with several subjects in one photo?
If the AI detects several subjects, they all get an outline. If they are close together, the outlines merge into one shape and thus into one sticker.
How big will the sticker be?
The long side of the photo is brought to at most 1600 pixels, plus the outline. The status line shows the exact size after it is created.
The AI kept part of the background – what now?
Use a photo where the subject stands out more clearly, or cut it out cleanly beforehand with another tool. A PNG with a transparent background is used directly without AI.
